Vacancies
The band is always interested in hearing from anyone who may wish to join the Band. Because we are not a competition band, we can usually find positions for anyone willing to join. However, we do especially have vacancies in the following sections at the moment:
- Euphonium
- Baritone
- Basses (Bb & Eb)
- Percussion (preferably tuned percussionist)
- Of course, players of all positions are welcome to join us (not just those above).
The vacancies are mostly because we have lost several Band members who have left the area to go to college or university. So if you live anywhere near the Knottingley, Castleford or Pontefract areas and play any brass instrument, then please do get in touch. I'm sure you will enjoy becoming part of such a friendly group. Simply
