The band uses the facilities at the Ferrybridge 'C' Power Station for their regular twice weekly rehearsal session, on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Visitors are welcome to come along and join us at any time, though it is advisable to contact the band in advance and let us know you are coming, so we can arrange for a visitor's pass to be made available from the Power Station's security and be met at the gate house for escorting on-site. Click here for directions to Ferrybridge 'C' Power Station.
Beginners are advised to read the next section.
The Band has many close contacts with this church, and since its refurbishment in 2007, the church has been the venue for many concerts held by the band throughout each year. Our own main concerts are usually held here as well.
The band also holds brass tuition lessons and beginner band sessions most Saturday mornings at the Central Methodist Church. The lessons are on a one-to-one basis with Graham or one of the full band members, and need to be booked in advance. So please contact the band for further information and to book your time slot.
KCB sometimes use the facilites of the Ackworth Quaker School for concerts. Click the link for directions to the school.
