The Band like nothing more than to be performing in front of a live audience. It's what the hard practicing is all about!

Here is a summary of up and coming events in the Band's diary at present. Many events are open to all, and we would really love you to come along and join us. Venues are sometimes free or open air, so if you don't like the idea of stuffy formal occasions, these might just suit you down to the ground. And you won't have to pay for the privilege, either! So if you are in the area on any of the following occasions, you should have no excuse other than to come along and support your friendly local Band.

Parish Church of St John the Evangelist

We have been asked to perform a fund raising concert for St. Johns Parish Church. This is a new venue for us and we are always delighted when we are asked to perform in a new location like this. Open to all. Note the 7:00pm start time.

British Heart Foundation

We will be performing a concert supporting the British Heart Foundation, an excellent organisation who we are happy to support in this way. Likely to start at 7:30pm, but times will be confirmed nearer the event.

KCB Patron's Concert

Central Methodist Church, Pontefract

Saturday 17^th July 2010  7:30pm

Set the date in your 2010 diary now, as we have set aside 17th July for the 2010 KCB Patrons' Concert. More details will be provided nearer the time as usual, but we thought you would want to know what date to keep clear for this popular concert.

Patrons will receive their VIP invitations via Gill as normal. For everyone else, the tickets details are:

• £7:00 Adults
• £5:00 Concessions (OAP, unwaged)
• £2:00 Children (16 and under)

Tickets will be available from A.S. Yager, Opticians, 32 Ropergate, Pontefract nearer the time, or you can get further information and pre-order tickets by contacting the band. Remaining tickets will be available for purchasing at the door on the day. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Can we play for you?

If you would be interested in having the Band play for you in any respect, then we would love to hear from you. We can arrange to play anything from a full concert to specially tailored events for any occasions like weddings, anniversaries, parties, formal and informal events. We have also put together a full 1940's style evening's package of events, which includes music, singing, dancing, games, entertainment, quizzes and more. This can also be tailored to suit your needs.

We have the following formats available:

• Knottingley Concert Brass: The full Band.
• KC Bratwursts: Our hilarious Oompah Band may be available by special request.
• Plastic Brass: Ensembles of various sizes, tailored to suit your event
• 40's Night: The band can arrange a complete Forties Night, tailored to your own requirements, with music, dancing, costumes, quizzes and full entertainment.
