Directions

Take J32 off the M62, and head south on the A639 towards Pontefract. Continue past the race course, and keep in the left lane as you approach the round about. Take the 3rd exit towards Pontefract. Straight ahead at the next set of lights. As you pass the pedestrian crossing move to the right hand lane and continue up the hill. At the brow of the hill move right into the slip road and turn right into New Gate. Follow it round to the left and along to the end where it bends sharply to the right into Tanshelf Drive. Where the road narrows, turn left (sign-posted to the Methodist Church) and follow the road to the church's car park.

Head into Pontefract along the A645. Approach the traffic light complex at the junction with the A639 in the right hand lane, and turn right to join the A639 going up the hill on Jubilee Way. Take the first left (at the brow of the hill) into New Gate. Follow it round to the left and along to the end where it bends sharply to the right into Tanshelf Drive. Leave Wakefield on the A645 and follow it all the way into Pontefract.
