Looking down from the balcony of the Castleford Civic Centre, over the Band in full swing on stage, for this charity fund raising event.
With yours truly looking on, Steve Austerbury, the Buffaloes member who organised the event and was also a past KCB member, joins us once again on stage and we even give him his own solo piece to perform. | Adding some humour to the evening, there was a small auction for who should be a guest conductor for a piece. With the highest bid going towards the fund-raising monies, he throws himself into the conductors role with relish, to the delight of the rest of the audience.

In a very moving moment, Cliff Poulter (94), the Buffaloe's only surviving founder member, is joined on stage by his wife (96) to have a commemorative photograph taken with the Band to celebrate the order's 50 years of fund-raising activities.
