The Band like nothing more than to be performing in front of a live audience. It's what the hard practicing is all about!

Here is a summary of up and coming events in the Band's diary at present. Many events are open to all, and we would really love you to come along and join us. Several venues are free and open air, so if you don't like the idea of stuffy formal occasions, these might just suit you down to the ground. And you won't have to pay for the privilege, either! So if you are in the area on any of the following occasions, you should have no excuse other than to come along and support your friendly local Band.

"See you there ..."

Joint Christmas Concert

Central Methodist Church, Pontefract

Sunday 14th December 2008

The lead up to Christmas in recent years has seen KCB perform a wonderful joint Christmas Concert sharing the stage with our friends, the excellent Pontefract Choral Society and their charismatic leader Phil Higgins. It is always a delight and a privilege to perform alongside this excellent local choir, and we are doing so again in 2008. In several of the previous concerts, Phil has written a brand new piece especially for choir and brass band, and if time and rehearsal oppertunities allow, we hope he will be doing the same again this year.

After the event, the organisers usually provide plenty of home made festive refreshments which are enjoyed by everyone. This really is a very special Christmas Concert and should not be missed.
